Hey, welcome to Win in Public.
This is where I share what's working in content, personal branding,
and building online for B2B founders and teams.
One of the questions I get asked the most is:
"How do you come up with so many content ideas?"
The truth is:
I don't.
(atleast not in the way most people think)
Most people imagine sitting in front of a blank screen
trying to say something clever.
That’s not how it works.
That's actually the fastest way to stress yourself out, lol.
People who never run out of content aren't more creative,
they just have a better system.
Today, I'm going to show you the one I use for myself and my clients.
Let's get into it.
Ideas are everywhere
I see so many people waste their whole day thinking of ideas,
when they should be paying attention to conversations.
That's where the gold is.
The best content usually comes from:
1/ Questions people ask you
2/ Problems you solve repeatedly
3/ Mistakes you see others make
4/ Lessons you've learned firsthand
5/ Conversations you're already having
This is exactly how I build content.
I don't just create random posts,
I build a curriculum.
How to create a content curriculum
You don’t have to think of content ideas.
The key is to make a course for your ICP to follow.
It doesn’t have to be in order,
but every post should be a lesson.
For example, I use 3 main pillars:
1/ Positioning
2/ Distribution
3/ Conversion

Then I break those down into smaller topics.
1a/ Positioning:
- Finding your ICP
- Align your message
- Optimize your profile
2a/ Distribution:
- Content
- Comments
- Connections
3a/ Conversion:
- Funnel
- Outreach
- Opportunities

Those topics get broken down even further.
For example:
Distribution
→ Content
Under that, I have:
- Ideas
- Creation
- Tracking

Then I go even deeper.
So, let’s take Ideas and break that down, too.
We end with:
- ICP Questions
- ICP Conversations
- Personal Experiences

The crazy part is that it doesn’t stop there.
I can talk about each topic from 5 different angles:
1/ Tips
2/ Mistakes
3/ Opinions
4/ Frameworks
5/ Personal Stories

So instead of one topic becoming just one post...
One sub-sub-topic becomes five.
And that's before reframing them into different formats.
Let’s do some quick math.
(3 Main Pillars) x (3 Sub-Topics) x (3 Sub-Sub-Topics) x (5 Post Formats)
= 135 Pieces of Content
The goal isn't to come up with something new every day.
It's to become known for something over time.
